Sarah Feige is a PhD candidate providing trauma-informed therapy for youth, young adults and parents, supervised by Dr. Adelle Pratt. She has worked in private practice, school, and community mental health settings across Guelph and Kitchener-Waterloo.
Sarah’s approach to treatment is rooted in respect for each person’s experiences and life situations. She strives to be as flexible as possible, and draws from a variety of research-supported treatments. Sarah provides therapy for youth and families coping with many different sorts of difficulties, concerning relationships, identity, loss, mood, anxiety, and obsessions and compulsions, including body-focused repetitive behaviors (like skin-picking and hair-pulling). Her research is focused on the theory and treatment of developmental trauma. She uses both talk- and play-based methods in her work with children.
Sarah is a northern gal who loves the winter. She takes comfort in hot tea, good books, and the beauty of music and film.
