Sarah Feige, Doctoral Candidate

Sarah Feige is a doctoral candidate working under the supervision of Dr. Adelle Pratt. She has completed six years of graduate training in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology at the University of Guelph, and worked in clinical and school settings across Guelph and Kitchener. During her residency year, she will be splitting her time between Insight Psychology on Norfolk, and Starling Children’s Mental Health Centre in Waterloo.

At Insight, Sarah provides trauma-informed treatment for children, teens, young adults and parents, based foremost on an in-depth understanding of the unique experiences and needs of individual family members, considering developmental, relational, and social systems contexts. She has been privileged to work with youth, young adults and families experiencing concerns related to anxiety, depression, school refusal and systems fit, attention and hyperactivity, body-focused repetitive behaviors, family relationships, gender identity and sexuality, as well as specific challenges associated with developmental trauma. She draws from a range of empirically supported treatment toolkits as needed, including interpersonal, emotion-focused, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and internal family systems approaches.

Sarah enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and making music.
