Kim Hewitt-McVicker is a registered occupational therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and has been practicing since 2006. Kim’s experience includes working in physical health, mental health and education-oriented settings. Across every setting, Kim values the importance of building strong therapeutic relationships as a foundation for delivering meaningful care.
As an occupational therapist Kim understands that how one occupies their time is connected to overall well-being and that various obstacles can get in the way of doing what one wants and needs to do. Collaboratively Kim offers a space to identify goals and work together to address the obstacles getting in the way of doing what means most. Kim is familiar with and experienced in supporting people managing depression, anxiety, psychosis, embracing and transitioning within LGBTQA+, persistent pain, return to work issues, school accommodations.
