Dr. Elyse Redden is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Guelph. Her graduate research focused on attachment, trauma, and self-compassion. She has engaged in clinical training in various settings including Hincks-Dellcrest Centre in Toronto, the Upper Grand District School Board, Lutherwood, and the Centre for Mental Health Research and Treatment in Waterloo.
Elyse started working as a student at Insight Psychology in 2016 and came on as an associate in 2019. She enjoys conducting psychological assessments to compassionately help her clients better understand themselves and generate personalized recommendations. She is passionate about therapy, has a background in various approaches, and uses an integrative therapeutic style tailored to each client. Elyse loves working with people from diverse backgrounds with intersectional identities, and has experience working with a wide range of challenges.
Elyse is from rural Ontario and loves the outdoors. She is an avid gardener, reader, meditator, traveller, and tea drinker.
